A love for theater and musicals surpasses generations. There’s something truly magical about a story coming to life on stage.
Each year, Goodspeed Musicals hosts a Gala to celebrate important works and the people who make the productions possible.
At the most recent Goodspeed Gala, which was held at The Riverhouse at Goodpeed Station on Sat., June 8, the night’s most prestigious honor was awarded to Sue Frost for her contribution to modern musicals.
According to the company’s website, Goodspeed is the first regional theater in America to earn two special Tony Awards for outstanding contributions to the American musical and for distinguished achievement for a regional theater.
The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station is honored to be chosen as the venue for this grand event year after year and is very proud of our partnership with the professional musical theater. In addition to being our neighbor, the location was also considered in the naming of our venue.
The gala also included music from Frost’s works as well as a delectable cuisine of exquisite food options and beverages for guests to enjoy.
Interested in hosting an event at The Riverhouse? From private weddings to corporate and social functions, the possibilities are endless.
