We had both our wedding ceremony and reception at The Riverhouse in October 2024 and it was nothing short of perfect! Everyone we met who works there was very professional, helpful, and kind. We asked lots of questions throughout the wedding process and always received detailed and prompt answers. The Riverhouse staff helped make our wedding plans much less stressful, and on the day of the wedding they helped everything go smoothly. We cannot recommend them enough!
We got married at The Riverhouse in June 2024 and it was a perfect day! From our first tour with Jim we were impressed with the venue, the food and drink options, the actual venue space, and the beautiful outdoor patio that was covered. Hattie was always quick to answer my many emails with questions. The whole team was very detail oriented and we felt confident that our wedding day would run smoothly. We worked with Rob and Loretta on our actual wedding day and they were fantastic, they are both truly a huge asset to the team at The Riverhouse. Rob understood our vision for the day and was a calming presence, making sure that everything ran exactly as we envisioned. Loretta kept us on schedule, checking in with us frequently throughout the night and made sure we were eating and drinking and not missing out on anything. Our guests were all extremely impressed with the food and how organized and attentive the staff were. The covered patio was a dream to have as it rained during our ceremony and we were still able to get married outside in the setting we had planned. We are so glad we chose The Riverhouse as our wedding venue!
Hattie and Kelley were great to work with prior to our big day! Extremely accomadating! Holly was the best day of coordinator! She was extremely helpful and made sure the day was perfect.
We celebrated our wedding at the Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station this past October and everything was absolutely perfect. From the planning stages to the day of the event, the team went above and beyond to ensure our day was seamless and stress-free. Kelley and Rob were phenomenal! Kelley handled our emails and detail meeting with such care and professionalism, making sure every element was planned exactly as we envisioned. Rob, as the event coordinator, truly ran the show on the big day. His calm, confident coordination kept everything flowing smoothly, allowing us to fully enjoy every moment. The venue itself is elegant, and while the views were nice, it was the flawless execution and the exceptional service that truly made the experience unforgettable. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive, and everything felt so thoughtfully handled. The only thing we wished for was more time! Our day went by so quickly because it was just that perfect. We got married at The Riverhouse at Goodspeed Station on 9/21/24 and it was by far the best day ever all thanks to the Riverhouse. The Riverhouse is a gorgeous venue with the most stunning ballroom and patio for the ceremony. Not only is the venue spectacular, but the staff is even better. From our first tour with Hattie, we knew immediately this was the venue for us. Throughout the whole planning process, Kelley, Lauren, and Hattie made everything so smooth and we always felt like we were in such good hands. The night of our wedding, Rob and Loretta made the night flow effortlessley and constantly were checking in on us to make sure we had everything we needed. The staff truly goes above and beyond for their couples. We also received sooooo many amazing reviews on the food and service as well. From cocktail hour, to dinner service, to bar service, everything was presented and tasted amazing. Overall, so incredibly happy with our choice to have our wedding at The Riverhouse. I cannot imagine having had it anywhere else. I could not recommend this venus enough!!!! Thank you to everyone for the best night ever!!!

They handled all the internal details, from linens to food and beverage, with impressive efficiency. Their flexibility made all the difference; they even accommodated our last-minute requests, ensuring everything went smoothly. We felt supported and at ease throughout the entire process. I can honestly say on my wedding day I did not have to worry about one single thing while at the Riverhouse as their day of staff were stars. The best decision we made was to have our wedding at The Riverhouse! We knew we were in good hands on day one when we toured the beautiful venue. Jim was extremely professional, yet down to earth and interested in what our vision was. All of the staff worked closely with us throughout the entire planning process, eliminating much of the wedding planning anxiety I was feeling. The day of the event I was treated no less then a princess, and felt like we owned the place. All of our guests raved about the quality of the food and service. Their attention to detail surpassed my expectations, and we could not have had such a perfect wedding without them. Creative Cakes by Donna took my inspiration picture for the cake and nailed it! It was an exact replica and delicious too! Bravo Riverhouse & Creative Cakes by Donna! You are outstanding!

We had the most wonderful experience booking our wedding with The Riverhouse! We booked with Kelley who is so helpful, professional and truly kind- she made the whole process so easy and enjoyable from our first tour through our wedding day. Loretta and Holly were with us on the night of our wedding, and they were also incredibly helpful and so sweet, not only to both of us, but to all of our guests too. The food was delicious! Our guests raved about the entrees, as well as how many appetizers there were and how they were very unique and tasty. The venue is also just so gorgeous and we had the best time celebrating with all of our loved ones!

The Riverhouse did an amazing job with my wedding. From the first contact to the actual wedding day, they never missed a step and kept me on track with everything that needed to get done. Kelley and Hattie did a great job of making sure all the details and planning were done. The final meeting with Rob put all my nerves and stress to ease he was on point with everything. The day of the wedding, Rob made sure that everything was going according to schedule and that we were happy with everything going on. He worked so well with all of our vendors to make sure that the timeline was spot on, letting us change some minor things up last minute. Rob is very professional and a huge asset to the Riverhouse.
We toured lots of wedding venues around CT and The Riverhouse checked everything and more off our wants list. They did a wonderful job guiding us through the whole wedding process from paperwork to be filled out to offering a fantastic menu tasting! They were very responsive with emails and understanding when we had to change a few things last minute. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding night as the food / drinks were amazing. Rob / Loretta made sure the whole day went smooth and were super accommodating throughout the night! We would 100% recommend The Riverhouse for your wedding day!
